Northumberland
UncategorizedJust back from a wonderful few days recharging the batteries in Northumberland where, for once, I did no work whatsoever! That is to say I put nothing down on paper but of course, places like this cannot help but feed into future work so we’ll see what materialises over the next few months.
Last time I stayed in Craster two paintings came from the visit, both of which are now in private collections but as with many of the paintings, large scale limited edition canvas prints are available.
Winter Warmer
UncategorizedKeeping the studio warm at this time of year can be pretty time consuming as the main form of heating is a Jotul woodburner which used to heat the greenhouses in the walled garden. This means wood must be sawn, collected and chopped on a regular basis. Here’s Becky Stead heading out for another load on Dumpy McDumpface:
